About
Clyde Logan was born and raised in West Virginia, the younger brother to football star Jimmy and older brother to pageant queen Mellie. Clyde enlisted in the military right out of high school, serving two tours before losing the lower half of his left arm on the way home. He took up bartending afterward, saving up enough to buy the Duck Tape from its previous owner. It wasn't a life that paid much, but it was his. That is, until he and his brother along with some friends were able to come into some more cash. With that money, he purchased another bar in a big city. He had success and has been able to continue growing the business in other cities around the United States.
While he's had more financial success than he'd ever expected to have in recent years, he's also been quite lonely. He's never been particularly outgoing, especially living in the shadow of a brother who everyone adored. He'd gone on few dates in high school, and mostly with people looking to get with the brother of the great Jimmy Logan. Then, he lost an arm, and nobody came knocking on his door. Until Sarah Grayson came along, all sweet smiles and kind words. But she didn't want him. She wanted information. Information that would hurt him and his family. So, he left. He bought his next bar and hasn't lived in Boone County since. He still visits his family throughout the year, but when he's not home he usually spends his time alone. Well, not entirely alone. He usually has a book to keep him company. But he'd like to start sharing parts of his life with another person too.
